“Thee faith” of the new covenant that all must believe without any error, false or strange doctrines foreign to “thee faith” of the new covenant!

The church is Holy:


The church is Holy because Her founder is God, and Holy is His name.

She is the spotless bride of Christ.

"faith” is found 31 times in the New Testament

Sometimes such refers to saving faith (trust, reliance) and sometimes to shared beliefs (doctrines). It's important to not confuse the two meanings.


There IS unity of faith among Christians.... always has been. always will be. ONE Lord, ONE faith, ONE baptism the Bible says. It's faith in Christ as the Savior. Without that faith, one is not a Christian....with that faith. one is.


There has NEVER been one united set of doctrine, thoughts, teachings. Christians have always had points of disagreement on other things (note the Epistles.... the Ecumenical Councils, the condemnation of heresies. etc.) Take your church, the Catholic Church, now claiming some one billion members. It agrees with NONE but it itself alone, it is in DISUNITY with every other church on the planet. The same is true for many churches. Indeed. my family is pretty much all Catholics but there's not one of them who agrees with all other other Catholics. Your church is in unity with none but itself.... and the members of it are (likely) in unity with few or none but themselves. In the BASICS (say the Nicene Creed) there is MUCH unity among the 2 billion or so Christians, but there ARE things we disagree on. READ the posts here at CH for example.... disagreements among brothers and sisters in Christ.



As for the Scriptures you provided, thanks for proving the claims of your church for it itself are not taught in Scripture.

Thanks for so clearly proving Scripture never claims that Peter was the founder of anything or infallible/unaccountable.

As you know, questions are not substantiation for anything other than the ability of a writer to frame something in the form of a question.



The Catholic Church has unity - officially, formally, doctrinally, institutionally in those things that it itself alone currently states it itself should agree with it itself upon. It agrees with no other than it itself alone - and ONLY currently, doctrinally, and institutionally. The same is true for every church, cult, sect and organization. So what? Is Jesus' call for each self to agree with none but each self alone - and then ONLY on those things self along currently thinks self should agree with self upon? I think not.

There IS unity of faith in the sense that all Christians are united in their faith (trust, reliance) upon Jesus as the Savior.
There has NEVER been unity among all Christians in the sense that they agree on everything. Your church agrees with NO OTHER but itself alone - and even that in such a limited sense as to be meaningless and moot.

Yes, your church is in unity ONLY WITH ITSELF ALONE, "unity" with no other, just itself. And that ONLY officially, formally, currently, INSTITUTIONALLY and in those things that it itself currently holds it must agree with itself concerning.

I don't think that's what Jesus had in mind with His prayer.....

The reality is that the Catholic Church has a unity of NONE, with NONE WHATSOEVER. Just itself. And just in such a limited sense as to be entirely worthless and irrelevant.
