hullo ruth! i trust you and your birdies are fine? just bought some nice magnolia and cherry blossom air freshner. i love the real thing though..anyways, have a great day
Yes love the woods but around here not safe as hunters are in them
lol probably not but it is mountainous and heavily wooded around here so it can get crazy out there. I used to hunt a long time ago, dont anymore, but I would not venture in the woods now till January
I know most are responsible and do the right thing but I have also seen the other side. Years ago I remember a couple guys from Philly pulling into a gas station with a goat tied on their car. When they were told it was a goat they got mad and thought the gas station owner was trying to steal their deer,I've hiked in the woods in PA in October and November before. I've encountered a couple of hunters as the sun went down, and seen a few pickups parked at the edges of the mountain roads (presumably while the drivers hunted) but never had any sense I was in danger.
I did chat with a forest ranger once who told me of a guy who thought a black woolly hat was a good thing to wear in the woods during bear season. Don't know if he got out safely or not. He probably looked a lot more like a bear than I do with my hi-vis vest on.
