Marijuana has quite a few health benefits that can make it a good source of health and healing.
The two drugs that can be extracted from the plant are THC and CBD ; one is good for soothing the nervous system thereby reducing seizures in some cases.

That's the thing, CBD works great for sleep and anxiety but I'm sure it would show up as positive in a drug screen so I can't even take it. I used the oil droplets just before I closed my eyes for bed and it worked wondersCan’t THC and CBD be taken by mouth in the form of oil? Is there any need to smoke them?
If I buy CBD oil from the nearby store, will I fail a drug test at work? If so, then how can that be right, when my state has made it legal? Especially when CBD doesn’t have ANY of the attributes that would make a person high. Only THC makes a person high. CBD cannot make a person high.

I have no idea, as a component of marijuana they will probably determine it as a trace of recent marijuana useAnd that’s another thing. If I tried out CBD on a Friday, would I then fail a drug test the following Tuesday, since it stays in your system?
The only reason cannabis aka "marijuana" has even approached acceptableness and legality in nominally Christian areas is because of the gigantic push it's advocates have been giving of it's very beneficial properties in relation to the human body.
In my estimation many (most) of the Pauline Christian persuasion confuse/amalgamate man's laws with God's laws and think they originate from the same source. Hence, one of the reasons they accepted it's illegal status as somehow "god's will" for so long.
Cannabis is mentioned in the bible (mistranslated "calamus" ) as part of the holy anointing oil. Unlike calamus, it is non-toxic.
The drug like attributes of the plant (the ones people associate with "getting high") are only activated by heat. You could chew on varieties even bred to be 80% or more THC and not get high, but receive all the health benefits thereof as long as you didn't cook it.
