What day of the week was it when God stopped caring about the Maccabees?

I mean, Daniel prophesies about it, John mentions the holiday from it, and Hebrews alludes to it.

Was there a particular point in time when God decided that it doesn’t matter anymore, and ought to be omitted out of the Bible?

Maccabees is history, not Scripture.

Multiple early church councils declared Maccabees to be divine canonical scripture.

What gives you the authority to tell me I can’t have Maccabees in my Bible. You have the authority to make that decision for all of Christianity and they don’t?

What if God says it’s scripture? You have more authority than God?

When you find the memo from God that states, "One of the books that some people give the name "Maccabees" to is my inerrant, fully and equally canonical, inscripturated words of mine" just post it. I think that would be quite significant. I think it might hit the front page of every newspaper in the world.

But I think we've all grown very tired of your "bait and switch" absurdities, your baseless rant, and your claims that never are substantiated - just ENDLESSLY repeated, like a broken record, in a plethora of ways.

The Lord Jesus said to search the Scriptures, for they testify of Him. The Maccabean books do not.

I zero what councils say. “The common people heard Him gladly.” The common people accepted the 66 books of Scripture long before heretical Catholics did.

What gives you the right to ask and receive the right answer and then blow up about it? I gave the truthful answer but you don’t want the truth, Nathan.

They do, they testify of a Prophet to come to resurrect the dead, they testify through suffering a torturous martyrdom in faith of a better resurrection (see Hebrews)

Did God speak to you and tell you it isn’t? What if it is? What if it belongs? What if?

“The Jews and their priests have resolved that Simon should be their leader and high priest forever, until a trustworthy prophet should arise.”
-1 Maccabees 14:41 - Bible Gateway passage: 1 Maccabees 14:41 - Common English Bible

UNTIL a trustworthy prophet should arise???

But I thought the last prophets were in the days of Ezra. That’s what the Jews say. 1 Maccabees doesn’t agree with Jewish rabbis. It says that ANOTHER prophet is….

That seems to be all you've got..... pure speculation, theoretical possibilities, and "what if's?"

What if we're all actually living on Mars and dreaming all this? What if God doesn't exist? What if truth mattered to you?

I think I’ve got a heck of a lot more than speculation.

You're assuming falsely that God was the one who initially put it in the bible.

God put the prophecies of Daniel 8 and 11 in the Bible. So if God had Daniel prophesy about it, then he cared about it at one time.

Josiah already addressed this multiple times about other writings including history but are not God inspired or God breathed works.

Says you. The early church says otherwise.

Says you. Quote the verbatim words of the Authoritative Body of The Early Church stating what you do.

You won't. Because you can't. And we all know that.
