In retrospect yes the serpent and others in the same class are Good according to The Word.

But in the instance of a nachash mentioned as serpent in English there is failure to convey the distinction between the 2.
Nachash is something that fell from creation.
Where as serpents/snakes venomous or not that were created continue according to the Lords will and purpose.

Hence be as "wise as serpents and gentle as doves"
Numbers 21
[ 5 And the people spake against God, and against Moses, Wherefore have ye brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? for there is no bread, neither is there any water; and our soul loatheth this light bread.

6 And the Lord sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.

7 Therefore the people came to Moses, and said, We have sinned, for we have spoken against the Lord, and against thee; pray unto the Lord, that he take away the serpents from us. And Moses prayed for the people.]

In the midst of the Garden was the serpent high in the tree offering something to be desired by man, might be more symbology involved as later we find Satan once again elevated on a high place and again offering things desirable of man to tempt the new Adam (Christ) and once again by twisting Gods words around.

The angel was created by God and this "creature" was superior in intelligence than any other beast of the field that God had created, it could speak and apparently had a history with God, perhaps the angel was given an earthly form when banished from Heaven to the earth? Regardless it was not an average beast of the field, nor is it suggested that the serpent was created along side the beast only that it had superior intelligence when compared to them.
Desires of man?
Or rather desires of the nachash?

Remember that this spirit of nachash elevates itself as is shown to daniel and all that have a gift in the spirit of understanding.

Lashon hara(evil speech) is the domain of the nachash.
Where as the firey serpents sent according to The Lords will in bamidar(numbers 21 are against the lashon hara of the generation who grumbled.
Even after such a transgression the children were not held accountable for their parents actions.

Blessings Always

Satan offered all the nations to Christ
The Nations that curse and are against israel?
Foreign lands far removed from the promises of The Most High?
Nachash was incapable of offering The Promised Land/nation that The Most High promised.

ALL NATIONS, and not for salvation either for he would have to forfeit Gods plan and bow down to Satan... Israel would be of no importance

I didn't see that.
Satan was on a mountain(high place) with Yeshua and tempted him to curse israel.
When the Lord refused the temptation of nachash the mountain was uprooted and removed.

Sorry my mistake, Kingdoms not Nations, however kingdoms rule over nations.

Nothing about mountains being removed during or right after the encounter, nothing about cursing Israel except by the fact that had Jesus gave in he would have abandoned Israel

"Then the devil took him up to a very high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world in their magnificence, and he said to him, “All these I shall give to you, if you will prostrate yourself and worship me. At this, Jesus said to him, “Get away, Satan! It is written:

‘The Lord, your God, shall you worship

and him alone shall you serve.'"
