Does Daniel chapters 8 and 11 prophesy about events that took place in Maccabees?

Where, why, and how maccabees claims a surgical reversal of circumcision shows that there is very little if not zero integrity or veracity to the account in whole.

Physical circumcision is permanent.
Matthew 3:9

Blessed be The Holy One
Think about the physical stature differentiated between goliath and david.
Then consider what is said of david being a man after The Most High in his heart.
Stone and bread.
David spoke to the stone unlike moshe and delivered a promise.

When Yeshua spoke of stones raised.
Consider the stones that king david used as a weapon against the enemy of a worldly mind set of force.
1 Corinthians

Does anyone here recall who The Holy Spirit convicts?

Blessings Always

“Was anyone called while circumcised? Let him not become uncircumcised. Was anyone called while uncircumcised? Let him not be circumcised.”
1 Corinthians 7:18 - Bible Gateway passage: 1 Corinthians 7:18 - New King James Version
Exactly.
If out of context it depends on what version of Roman's a person reads in order to glean the spiritual meaning.

Paul clearly says that it can be reversed. Don’t ask me how. But that’s what it says. Your accusations against Maccabees just don’t have any legitimacy.

I haven't accused!
A closer definition would be scrutinized or criticized.

I do find relevant historical accounts while reading maccabees that closely relate to the miracle of oil.

But as a whole.
It is Lacking in veracity.

Whatever. Criticism. Your criticism of Maccabees is baseless. You’re only against it because you were told to be.

Who do you assume told me to be "against" maccabees?

Got any real accusations against Maccabees? The early church said it belongs in the Bible.

A very disturbing last sentence.
Blasphemy far as I can see.

1 maccabees
[ 59 On the twenty-fifth of the month, these same evil people offered sacrifices on the pagan altar erected on top of the altar in the Temple. 60 Mothers who had allowed their babies to be circumcised were put to death in accordance with the king's decree. 61 Their babies were hung around their necks, and their families and those who had circumcised them were put to death. 62 But many people in Israel firmly resisted the king's decree and refused to eat food that was ritually unclean. 63 They preferred to die rather than break the holy covenant and eat unclean food—and many did die.

64 In his anger God made Israel suffer terribly.]

Another discrepancy is found in ch 2 of 1 maccabees that conflict with the writings of Daniel.

[ 59 Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael were saved from the flames because they had faith. 60 Daniel was a man of integrity, and the Lord rescued him from the mouth of the lions.]

Anyone recognize the first 3 names?
I dont!

Point being is that a Torah observant hebrew would of known not to make such a blatant mistake.

19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar filled with fury, and the form of his visage was changed, against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; he spoke, and commanded that they should heat the furnace seven times more than it was wont to be heated.

What’s the mistake?
Hananiah, Azariah, and Mishael were their original names before they were changed to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego.
Daniel also has his name changed to Belteshazzar.

Are you seriously suggesting that Maccabees is mistaken because it calls them by their original names?

You’re sounding like someone who hasn’t read the book of Daniel.

Are you serious right now?

Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-Nego were originally named Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah before their names were changed.

Do you have any legitimate accusations against Maccabees that actually make sense?

There is a distinction between Faith(trust) and Integrity in hebrew.

24 Then was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he had trusted in his God.

הֵימִן

You seriously haven’t heard of Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah? Daniel mentions them.

True,
They are not mentioned by those names when cast into the 7fold fired kiln.
And there is a principle lesson in why their hebrew names are not mentioned in this very specific account.
Something of which a Torah observant hebrew would understand.

For the author of maccabees to make such a critical error shows that it is written by a gentile.
That very much lacks integrity.

I'll concede if you can find a version of maccabees that states their other names.
