Does Daniel chapters 8 and 11 prophesy about events that took place in Maccabees?

Dude, seriously. You need to actually research this.
Instead of assuming I haven't researched.

Offer a counter rebuttal to my conjecture.

Do you know the military strategy called a pincer move?
Alex didn't conquer persia.
He started a war over trade routes and resources that lead to further wars after his death.
Some were physical and others where political according to secular history.

“And now I will tell you the truth: Behold, three more kings will arise in Persia, and the fourth shall be far richer than them all; by his strength, through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece. Then a mighty king shall arise, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. And when he has arisen, his kingdom shall be broken up and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not among his posterity nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be uprooted, even for others besides these.”
Daniel 11:2-4 - Bible Gateway passage: Daniel 11:2-4 - New King James Version

After the realm of Greece is stirred up, a mighty king shall arise. That’s Alexander. Then his kingdom of divided towards the 4 winds of Heaven. That’s when his 4 generals became kings over 4 sections of the Greek empire. This is repeating what Daniel 8 said about the prominent horn on the goat breaking off and 4 horns replacing it. It’s the same thing. This is also why Daniel 7 says this kingdom is a leopard with 4 heads and 4 wings.

Or is it a "mighty warrior of persia"?

No, it’s Alexander. Obviously. Learn about his life. Watch a documentary or something. That’s why I said you need to research it for yourself.

Why then is there a distinction in the vision with 2 different rivers?

Personal I prefer to braid a corded thread throughout history with the TaNaKh as a loom.

Where in geographical reference is the ulai river in comparison to the Tigris that's apart of the garden border?

Instead of accepting media as a source.
I suggest that readers delve in the Torah and prophets before discerning the writings such as iyov and daniel.

Yes,
And numbers are mentioned in daniel.
With a framework that helps to understand.

Have you looked at persian history and the number of kings?

Yea, secular history doesn’t exactly match up with Biblical history.

Which is why i don't believe maccabees has any connection to daniel.
I'm of the opinion that the vision given Daniel will occur at a later time than the present.
Will not know for sure until the scroll is unsealed.

Daniel specifically says that the goat is Greece. And it says that it defeated the Medes and the Persians. It’s a historical fact that Alexander the Great defeated the Persians, which is what 1 Maccabees chapter 1 says. If you’re going to deny that, then it’s because you haven’t researched it for yourself. You’re being a “know-it-all” when you haven’t studied it yourself.
