I'm certain that many a studious member of this forum is aware of The parable concerning arrogance or hypocrisy.

Even so.

All are welcomed, encouraged , and questioned to search where a person can find examples of the, "log in the eye" mentioned in The Torah.

I think all of us have some sort of log in our eye about something.

None of us can be fully aware of our own biases or how our behaviour "lands" on others. Even the most introspective of us will have logs. I think the point is, though, that we are aware we have them, and that our behaviour is not always perfect or welcomed by others, that we are hypocrites - all of us - in some ways because we all judge. Like maturity, removing the logs and sawdust is a process, takes time, and is never fully complete.

There is mention from The Lord about asking.
Asking" being the prominent focus of concern far as I see.
There is mention about 'asking amiss, or grumbling found throughout Torah(first 5 books)

If a person were to search through scripture and history of a nation and kingdom.
Where would they find mention of water healed by a log?

Whether a person recognizes a log in water, or salt in water, or water soaked logs aflame.

Grace is a mem vav to set in place respect for many generations.
