Do you use hand sanitizer?

I went to order at a kiosk at a gas station and they had hand sanitizers to use afterward and I didn't even think about it until I got into my car and noticed a strong perfume smell. I thought it was from the woman getting into the car next to me but no, it was ME! The hand sanitizer was so heavily perfumed that I couldn't stand that 45 minute drive home! ick

Very seldom. I don't really want to be rubbing alcohol into my hands unless it's really necessary and it very seldom is. The last thing I want is to be pumping an unknown product onto my hands - not only do I have no way of knowing whether the provider cheaped out and offered some nasty product I also don't know if it's going to make my hands smell objectionable.

I think the last time I used hand sanitizer was in October when I was visiting a gallery on vacation. The owner asked us to use some on the way in and it didn't seem like a cheap and nasty place so I complied. At the next place they also asked us to use hand sanitizer but that looked more cluttered and low-brow so I acted as if I was but didn't actually take any. Too much alcohol on the hands doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

I use hand sanitizer rarely, but when I do, I use one that I used to use when I was working. Most really wreck my hands. One with a perfume smell would be horrible for me too. With the COVID, I have started to carry a small bottle of mine with me and I know that the one I am using is not an issue with me. So many places want you to use sanitizer these days.

I have a small one I carry in my purse too but since the gas station had theirs set out all over the place I thought I'd give it a quick squirt while waiting for my latte to be made. That was a huge mistake! The perfume stayed on my hand throughout the rest of the day and at least 10 hand washings and 1 time of washing dishes by hand too. I'll stick with my own from now on.
