Hello, I've come here to learn more about Christianity.
I'm a Buddhist... mostly.. but I like to learn about and try to understand other religions. I'm not here to promote Buddhism, or to discuss it either.
I really like to hear about people's experience of being transformed by their beliefs, and I see some connections between spiritual practices and psychotherapy. (I'm a therapist)

Well, there can be a concern about what is meaningful in life; how to have a happy life; how a person relates to their inner impulses and desires; what death means to a person; is there a 'true' and what is that; is there something beyond the individual; what does it mean to really connect; has life become empty and soulless; can we live with more soul; what is reality; can material things bring lasting satisfaction; can anybody be trusted; are ghosts real; can I be loved; what's the right thing to do; can meditation, contemplation, prayer play a role in wellbeing or dealing with distorted states of mind; spiritual experiences; oneness; psychic phenomena... etc. etc.

These are the sort of concerns I hear about, I think religions were trying to help with these sorts of concerns before therapy existed.

I'm a Transpersonal therapist and so various psycho-spiritual theories formed part of my training.
