Yes
Yes, you keep saying that, but we are told to be ready for him to return at any moment.

But since we are believers we shouldn't have fear of His return.

Yet many tremble even of the thought of it, because they still hold to the addiction of sin, and refuse to repent of it and turn it over to Christ.

Which is why the truth of the Savior and His forgiveness won at the cross (the Gospel, that is the Good News) should be spread throughout the world!

Lets look at how scripture describes what happens to the wicked on the day of the Lord at the Second Coming:

Revelation 6:15-17 King James Version (KJV)
15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

And throughout the nations and their leaders...

Psalm 110:5-6 King James Version (KJV)
5 The Lord at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

These people will be overthrown and their bodies will be strewn over the earth:

Jeremiah 25:33 King James Version (KJV)
33 And the slain of the Lord shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.

They cannot be gathered, lamented or buried because no living being will remain on earth.

Jeremiah 4:23-28 King James Version (KJV)
23 I beheld the earth, and, lo, it was without form, and void; and the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I beheld the mountains, and, lo, they trembled, and all the hills moved lightly.
25 I beheld, and, lo, there was no man, and all the birds of the heavens were fled.
26 I beheld, and, lo, the fruitful place was a wilderness, and all the cities thereof were broken down at the presence of the Lord, and by his fierce anger.
27 For thus hath the Lord said, The whole land shall be desolate; yet will I not make a full end.
28 For this shall the earth mourn, and the heavens above be black; because I have spoken it, I have purposed it, and will not repent, neither will I turn back from it.

And they will not be brought back up till the resurrection of damnation, for the lake of fire and second death:

Revelation 20:5-8 King James Version (KJV)
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,
8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

Yes, and still there are those who pick up false ideas and traditions that are not part of the Gospel, such as 7 years of tribulation, and a Secret Rapture, and man is immortal so needs no Saviour, and that we can keep ourselves in the grip of iniquity and still be with Him in the kingdom. Christians need to see what is true and what has been spread by the adversary to confuse and turn many on to the wrong path.

Lets take a look at what many say will be a Secret Rapture, as you can see how it stands contrast with the events shown us by Gods Word. This false doctrine of the secret rapture which many have picked up can quickly be seen for what it is, another gospel, as it proposes that the people of God will be secretly taken to heaven while the unconverted remain on the earth to receive what is tantamount to a second chance. The second chance doctrine is a doctrine of false hope which does not encourage people to change their lives and make right with God, but continue in wickedness which Gods Word warns us of.

Isaiah 55:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Gods Word says we can turn from this wickedness...

Ezekiel 18:21-23 King James Version (KJV)
21 But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all my statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23 Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord God: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

But we see the "if" in these verses, to return to the Lord and turn from all sin and do what is lawful and right. Salvation is conditional on true repentance and to obedience to Gods Law. We will be held accountable for our deeds, we cant just say we follow Christ, but we must do it and have the fruits thereof. Christ makes it clear:

Matthew 16:27 King James Version (KJV)
27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.
