I was stopped for speeding and the young female officer took my license and ran it and then she played it to the hilt. I received a stern lecture about road safety and then she said "I am Jane Doe I was in your calculus class seven years ago." We had a pleasant chat for about 10 min in her cruiser. As we parted she gave me a warning ticket.

Just like Jesus ... it is not what you know, but who knows you.

I believe its not about the sin or anything else. I see baptism as a process of initiation into the brotherhood of christianity.

I am less concerned about the nuances of the theology behind it but I think that its a process of putting a seal and confirmation as a process of renewing your faith as soon as you join hands with the christ through your first communion.
