Cornhole Game

Some people call it "bags" but I think the official name is "cornhole". Do you like playing? What weird rules does your family play by? Have you ever joined a tournament?

Don't play it very often but have enjoyed it in the past. To be honest for me it's more about a sense of cameraderie, playing with people whose company I enjoy so it doesn't really matter who wins or loses.

I don't really have any interest in playing competitively, anything more serious than betting the next round of drinks with a friend is too serious for me

I've never heard of the game and actually the term "cornhole" sounds somewhat risqué.

I don't play it competitively, and if it's too hot, I pretend I'm fainting when asked to play. But I do play it when they really need someone to fill the spot and I enjoy it. I more like watching people play it.

OK thanks. I have not seen that played in Canada but we do have a somewhat similar game called "holey board" that involves tossing a large (6") steel washer at a box with three holes laid flat on the ground. Think of horseshoes.

BTW, the word cornhole has a colloquial meaning in Canada --- it refers to the anus.

Curious.... do you use the term "piehole" to refer to the mouth?
