If you were on your death bed and you say to thee "Lord, your will be done", what exactly would you mean by it?

It would mean that you accept His will and not yours. That you will be fine either healed or going home to Him

I'm not sure that it's something I'd necessarily say on my deathbed but ignoring that it would seem there are three options:

1. Miraculous healing that results in going home
2. Death takes longer than anyone would really like
3. Death is quick and painless

I can't see much meaning to the prayer other than being willing to graciously accept whichever option you're given. We don't have much choice whether to accept it or not - at that point all we can do is force option 3 - it's a matter of how graciously we accept it.

It's admitting we have no control over our situation and we rely on the Lord that His will is the best way no matter what the outcome.

You are putting yourself in His hands, and if you accept Christ, there is no issue. My grandmother did that on her last day in the hospital, and she had lived a life full of chain smoking, gambling, cursing like a sailor, and other things that I wouldn't go into to, but she put herself in Gods hands then passed away holding her Bible....

This is hard to answer. It shows a sign of surrender, but it may or may not be a sign of repentance.

So.. what else does it depend on?
Truly those who confess on their death bed that they trust in God's word are saved.. just ask the thief on the cross ;)

Had he repented or not?

Just saying "thy will be done" does not necessarily indicate repentance.
