One of my colleague talked about different levels in Heaven. He said there are three levels and each is for a purpose. Can you elaborate on this or refer me to the Verse where i can read and know more about it.

Sounds like he's a Mormon. They teach three levels of heaven. The super good Mormons get to be like Jesus in the top level and have sex so they can create spirit babies that will then be born as human babies... hopefully to Mormons who can then raise the kids and keep the cycle going.
Joe Smith was a teenager when he got his tablets. Figures he'd have sex in his mind.

I've heard this before in another forum years back. I believe we will have certain duties but I have no clue of what they are nor of any hierarchy, some say we may be kings on the new Earth and others kings in Heaven but that's all complete speculation, we have no idea of what our role in Heaven will be, I do know that this would be a physical place and we will be in a physical body, that we will eat and drink and be merry, we will be without pain nor suffering nor death.

The closest thing you will find in Scripture is a single reference to “the third heaven” ...

[2 Corinthians 12:2] I know a man in Christ who fourteen years ago--whether in the body I do not know, or out of the body I do not know, God knows--such a man was caught up to the third heaven.

To believe that there are three LEVELS in heaven is a misunderstanding. The Hebrew word has three meanings ... the sky above where the air and birds are ... the place above that where the stars are ... the place above that where GOD is. So the “three heavens” of 2 Corinthians are
1. The air
2. Outer space
3. Spiritual Heaven where God and the angels dwell.

Thus Paul was taken into the “third heaven” ... the spirit realm where God and angels dwell.

שָׁמַיִם shâmayim, shaw-mah'-yim; dual of an unused singular שָׁמֶה shâmeh; from an unused root meaning to be lofty; the sky (as aloft; the dual perhaps alluding to the visible arch in which the clouds move, as well as to the higher ether where the celestial bodies revolve):—air, × astrologer, heaven(-s).

[Gen 1:1, 14, 20 NASB] 1 In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. ... 14 Then God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs and for seasons and for days and years; ... 20 Then God said, "Let the waters teem with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth in the open expanse of the heavens."
[Gen 22:11 NASB] 11 But the angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, "Abraham, Abraham!" And he said, "Here I am."
[Lam 3:41 NASB] 41 We lift up our heart and hands Toward God in heaven;

Proper concordance! Yes there is definitely three portions of heaven, sky, universe/space, Throne. Our only observance is from the Earth, scientist seem to agree that the universe is infinite (no end), but the Earth is lower than any of these, the god of this world is also the lowest, the pit is also endless... a bunch going on here folks

Here's the way I see it - Our own Physical Heavens or Worlds - Based on the Scripture:

Hbr 11:3 Through faith we understand that the WorldS (plural) were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

The first Heaven or world was in the midst of water below and above it (garden of Eden) and later destroyed in a Flood.
The second Heaven is our present world - which is also scheduled to be destroyed after Armageddon. Note: surrounded by Star Dust NOT by water above and below it.
The third Heaven or world is the object of the Creation, the New Heaven and New Earth (Rev 21) contains a single city with streets of gold and gates of pearl, and it will never die (Rev.21).

The first heaven was Made the SECOND Day. Genesis 1:6-8
The second heaven was Made the THIRD Day. Genesis 2:4
The third heaven is where Jesus is right now - preparing the place for us (Rev 21) - and is Created on the THIRD DAY. Genesis 2:4

Isa 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.

Jhn 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

God Bless
.
