We all put something above God at some point. Money? Brisket? New car? Our children?

Let's be honest.

To some extent fear in the form of anxiety. I know this is true because faith quenches fear therefore anxiety is a barometer of your faith.

So if a person suffers from anxiety, they have very little faith?

Above God? Nothing. If I do so, may I repent.
There are many things in which I struggle to obey and fight against mainly because they draw me out of my comfort zone.
For example, we had a member of our church end up homeless this weekend. My house is rather small and only has one bathroom. I have a family. Do I bring the person and his mom into my house? Do I invite them to tent in my backyard? Do I find them a hotel? Will my family agree with my decision? How far am I willing to go? Will I go beyond my comfort zone and trust God?

I think I would have to say my depression and anxiety when I have bouts of them. Otherwise I value time I can have for myself.

Due to some recent health issues, I am reminded that God is in control and thank him everyday for a continued chance at life.
