With all the therapies I’ve done, I can say I can stay in perfect self-composure in all circumstances in life currently. I’m quite stable emotionally, having done advanced CBT, CPT, mindfulness, starting DBT lately, DCT and trauma therapy. I think I can cope with my triggers a lot better than ever before, realizing that everything I’m doing in life presently I’ve chosen it willingly, being able to say : “I’m willing!” are huge progress in my healing journey. DCT has been letting me separate my past from my present and future, DBT is teaching me how to change my whole mindset thence my actions with myself and others around me. Having done 2-3 years CBT and CPT, I’ve been processing my thoughts and feelings and stopping them from leading my life. Lastly, with mindfulness, it’s been helping me stay calm in all situations and distinguishing my moods from my facts.

I know what the other initials stand for, but I don't know what DCT means? What does that involve?

Dialectical behavioural Therapy, by changing your internal dialogue, thence correcting your mindset and ultimately how you act in life with yourself and others around you.

that's DBT not DCT. DBT was orginally designed for people with borderline personality disorder.
