My current T had said to me that she’ll refer me to a specialized female T in PTSD and lucid dream attacks. It’s the root cause to all my other mental health issues. After her vacation, be having T twice a week. Be intense, but worth it. She says she doesn’t feel qualified enough to treat my PTSD attacks. Had a nightmare about being orally raped by an ex male friend last night. Had called my T to discuss about it with her. I’m trying to ground myself but I’m still in a panic this morning.

Having a specialist should really help you out!

When I was a teenager there was some rag magazine that talked about some day taking a pill to remove certain memories. I'm not sure that's the best cure since it doesn't teach people how to cope but in a lot of cases where there has been horrible trauma maybe removing those memories would make life more peaceful. What do you think of that concept?

Not really much for medication but more about how to manage it all.

Have you heard of the book "The Body Keeps the Score"

It's a good book to read to learn about trauma. The link above will give you a free book preview
