It is a waste of money unless the wall serves some purpose immediately useful for the property owners. It will not stop anyone from going around it, over it, under it, so it really isn't likely to be useful for keeping people out least of all the wealthy drug dealing sorts.

I say good for them if they want a wall then let the people who want it fund it, better than the government as I see it as a huge waste

I've always thought Trump should pay for it... then get reimbursed by the Mexicans as he can arrange that.


I'm 100% in favor of FINALLY getting a handle of the flood of illegal immigrants. And I fully support Trump in that regard. I'm not sure "the wall" is THAT critical to that, however.

Whether we agree with the wall or not, isn't it crazy that a GoFundMe was used for such a purpose and the fact that people actually ended up donating to it in the end. It's their money I guess but it will be nice to read a news report in a few months or even a year that they've run out of the money or they've spent it on something completely different.

Why is it crazy that a GoFundMe site was used for it? If people believe in it and want to freely donate their money to fund it, more power to them. Isn't that the whole point of a site like GoFundMe? If you like the idea you help fund it, if you don't like the idea you walk on by.
