He is not yet elected and there is no impeachment his party or the parliament would just dismiss him from office. If he committed a crime he'd be indicted, tried, and if found guilty sentenced. The PM is not above the law and his term of office does not protect him from criminal or civil law.
Regardless of facts he should still be impeached

;)

Or prosecuted.

Or fed to the Dangerous Bitey Things in the opposition.

God forbid that I should support the lawless one - Donald Trump - he may be then end of the USA as a prosperous nation and possibly the harbinger of destructive wars.

Meh, the seeds of destruction were sown long before The Donald got anywhere near the White House.

You may never support The Donald but hey, stranger things have happened.

The economy is booming under Trump so I doubt your prediction of the end of USA's prosperity will come true.

Economies are tricky, partly because it often depends just how and what you measure and partly because economic cycles don't always fit neatly into electoral cycles.

Don't get me wrong, I think Trump is way better, economically speaking, than Obama could dream of being. It's just that not all measures of "booming" are useful to the average person.

Not to everyone, Norfolk Southern just laid off 50 workers at their Altoona yeard where they do a lot of repair work. While small there are others around the country losing their jobs as well and who knows what will happen with the tariffs to farmers and other jobs

FWIW, the recent elections in Australia are yet another reason why polling shouldn't be trusted; every poll of note had Labor beating the center-right Coalition going on 2 years straight...yet, the Aussie people, when they went to the polls, decided otherwise. :hamster::lick::peace::big_boss:

Kinda' like how Americans gave the proverbial middle finger to pollsters back in 2016, huh?

One can rely on stupid people to vote stupidly.

:smirk:
Mocking people for not going along with the desires of the chattering classes is never a good thing; by that standard here in the U.S., voters in urban areas keep voting for Demcoratic mayors and yet nothing ever seems to change... *shrugs* .....there's your stupidity for you, voting for the same thing over and over expecting a different result.

What happened in 2016 was that the American people said "Enough!" to the elites on both sides of the political spectrum and God willing, they'll do the same in 2020.

And one can equally rely on the way stupid people try and intimidate people with the wrong political opinions to skew opinion polls to the point they are worthless. As indeed they have proven to be many times and in multiple countries now.
Its' the Shy Tory effect in full evidence, Tango....
The shy Tory factor is a name given by British opinion polling companies to a phenomenon first observed by psephologists in the early 1990s. They observed that the share of the electoral vote won by the Conservative Party (known colloquially as the "Tories") was significantly higher than the equivalent share in opinion polls. The accepted explanation was that so-called "shy Tories" were voting Conservative after telling pollsters they would not. The general elections held in 1992 and 2015 are examples where it has dramatically affected the overall result, but has also been discussed in other elections where the Conservatives did unexpectedly well. It has also been applied to the success of the Republican Party in the United States.

I know the "shy Tory" effect well, having seen the Tories referred to as "the nasty party". I never saw the kind of hatred towards Conservative supporters that I see towards Trump supporters though.

My comment was responding to a comment about the Australian election of 18th-May-2019. Australia has no political party called "Democratic" nor any called "Republican". And the 2016 federal election in Australia had little to do with what USA voters may may not have wanted.

That's because Australia is not even a real country

Many people despise Donald.

He is somewhat despicable

:smirk:

If you can find me a politician that many people don't despise I'd be a lot more impressed. As I said before, feel free to change the record any time, it sounds like this one is badly broken.
