From my experience God is supposed to love everyone and the animals, too.

God loves us all and He hates sin and unrighteousness. The bible talks of Him hating certain sin and also talks about not only His judgement but also about His coming judgement, so yes God is a God of love but we must remember that He is also a God of justice and judgement.

Do you think that God hates wickedness and/or wicked people who persist in wickedness? Does God hate Satan and the fallen angels?

IMO, God unconditionally loves all (equally). Love flows FROM God to us, because God IS love. Such love is unconditional, unearned, even usually unrequested.... poured out upon us by the God who is love. John 3:16.

CONDITIONALLY, in terms of what we do, God hates us.... because we are sin. Such disapproval ("hate" being the extension of disapproval) is a result of US - our sin. Psalm 5:5

God loves all... God hates all..... (athough there is an outward, "civil righteousness" - another issue for another thread).

These are by no means self-exclusive. As a boy growing up, my parents ALWAYS totally loved me. But they (too often) disapproved of what I did. Their love for me being unconditional - a reflection of who THEY are, not who I am. Their disapproval being conditional - a reflection of who I am, not they.
