Pastor sleeps in church to protect it

Pastor knew it was dangerous, but after Louisiana fires, he felt he had no choice but to sleep in his church

I don't know if having a pastor sleep at a church will stop people from their hate and burning it down. Maybe he should install outside security cameras? My church has them because of some shady things that were happening on the property out back.

Yeah, back in the early 90's we were building a new church building and the pastor was worried it was vulnerable during construction so he slept there for a period of time but that was before security systems and cameras were the norm.

I'd agree with you - if someone wants to burn down a church it seems to me they would be unlikely to even stop to consider whether someone was sleeping in it overnight and debatable whether they would care even if they knew the minister was inside.
