So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

Trying to figure out the best way to get these Prayer rocks done. My acrylics are dried up, the colored pencils don't show up well enough and my gel pens aren't drying.

More fun with my angle grinder today. This time I stuffed wall cavities with fiberglass so I wouldn't have to spend a couple of hours cleaning the upstairs room. And I got busy grinding, and grinding, and grinding, and cleaning, and grinding, and cleaning. It really does make a horrendous mess and the dust travels. So what I do is open the door, put a fan in the door blowing the air out, and try and guide as much mess as possible towards the fan. It's a very fine dust so it doesn't have to blow far for it to dissipate.

Then I got a couple more panels cut and put into place. Maybe on Monday I can do some more grinding. Hopefully it won't be long before I can get that entire room fixed up with insulation panels. That will be really nice.

Feeling sleepy but fighting it because I'm finally off work tomorrow lol... Im such a nocturnal night owl im used to it... wishing I had the motivation to play my guitar and try to write and record songs but just way too tired, watching some youtube videos on dreams lol. Been having really vivid dreams that have been disturbing. I guess im just going through a moment in my life, I suppose much is on my mind and my psyche is not used to it so it becomes chaotic I dunno (yawn) yep.. i dunno.. poopoo zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

I do! I didn't know that not everyone dreamed in color until I was in my 20s I think. My dreams can be a little surreal which makes them very fun. I've come up with some awesome music but can't hold onto the tune when I wake up so that's kind of sad.

I do! I didn't know that not everyone dreamed in color until I was in my 20s I think. My dreams can be a little surreal which makes them very fun. I've come up with some awesome music but can't hold onto the tune when I wake up so that's kind of sad.

From what I gather 90% of people dream in black and white and 9% dream in only very limited color. I think I've had one dream in black and white in my life and the rest hve been in full color. Like you I assumed everybody did until I was probably in my late teens and experimented with a load of stuff relating to parapsychology and the like. I was quite surprised that my dream patterns were shared by a small fraction of 1%.

The surreal ones, especially when you can control what's happening, can be fun. Apparently an even smaller percentage of people do that. If you can wield full control over the dream world it makes nightmares much less likely. I have vague recollections of a few dreams that were taking turns I didn't care for so I just changed the rules of how things worked to make them more to my liking. I remember one dream I had that involved someone trying wanting to shoot me and when my attempts to avoid them failed I just changed the rules of reality so I could be a mirage. They fired, the bullet went straight through the mirage, and I still remember mocking them for their failure to complete their mission.

I have lucid dreams too that I control. I very rarely have bad dreams because of that. I sense danger and I change the scene.

I hear unique music in my dreams usually every night, and it plays over and over lol I wake up and it still plays in my head for a while. It sounds better in the dream but when I sing it after I dreamt it I find it very monotone and boring so I drop it lol.
It borders on "baby shark doo doo doo doo doo...." lol

The new job started today, right? They'll love you!

No, it started last Wednesday, but I started seeing clients today. Last week was mainly just orientation.
My son also starts a temporary job tomorrow morning (Tuesday). I hope he sticks with it.

Another session of running my angle grinder across my concrete. I really hate doing that but it has to be done. Got another couple of panels cut to a slightly irregular size that fit between the wall studs. Tomorrow I can cut panels for the rest of that wall and start on the adjacent section. I'll be really pleased when this corner is done - it's been nothing but trouble since I started working on it. I've had to fix numerous holes in the wall, grind uneven concrete back so it's flush, replace an ancient piece of cable that powers the porch light, and once I've rerouted the heating pipes I'm going to have to fix the floor because the floor supports aren't really adequate.

Watching the news to see what the weather will be like. My daughter has to drive into the city and it's all icy out right now.
