Yes, I used to have an art portrait business on the internet and made some money. Not enough to live on though.

my part time job is counseling online, so I guess that is technically using the internet.

Many years ago I did visit web sites and fill out questionnaires and made a few dollars for doing that.

The nearest thing to making money that I have experienced on the internet is ordering a book from Amazon and then reporting to them that what they sent was not what was described on their web site. Their reply was to refund my money + postage and to say "keep the book" because the cost of returning it was too high.

There's a bidding group I belong to on Facebook I've sold from at times. The highest bid on an item 24 hours after it's posted wins. I've only made a couple of bucks from things, but it was usually stuff I wanted to get rid of anyway. Sometimes I find good deals, though. I got a nice coffee table with slate tiles for the top for $40.

I've also sold on ebay. Now though if you don't use your account within a certain time period (I guess a few years means a lot LOL) they purge your account. So all my positives are gone.
