Category 4 Hurrican Michael will be making landfall in the next few hours in Florida panhandle. I don't remember many category 4 storms making landfall. Winds are at 140 miles per hour. 9 to 13 feet of storm surge. This is a scary storm. The only good thing is that it is moving fast

I've seen some photos and there is a lot of damage. What's really scary is that there wasn't as much coverage about evacuating as the last hurricane. I know they wanted evacuations done but it came so quickly I don't know if people had as much time to prepare?

Wow, that was scary in the Gulf! I saw footage and that's one storm I wouldn't want to be in! I don't know how much damage there was or if anyone died yet but I hope everyone in Michael's path is okay.

We had our power knocked out for about 4 hours and there was a lot of minor tree damage. I had to change routes home twice tonight because of trees in the road. It is gone now after around 730 or so the sun started coming out and the next few days are suppose to be really nice weather

Latest is 6 dead with many many unaccounted for and at least 8 billion in damage, prayers for all affected. Jsimms, is everything back to normal for you?

Fall weather outside and maybe the prettiest day we have had this year today.
Lots of people still without power. Lot of traffic lights still out due to power problems and lots of trees down
Our office was closed today and the schools are closed due to power being out in a lot of places and down trees
