cooling pad for PC

i have bought a new cooling pad for my laptop. a belkin model. it helps to allow pc to breathe thus minimizing likelyhood of getting overheated while online for more than 3 hours.
does anyone else use a cooling pad for their pc?

My PC is in a mid-tower case so it has cooling fans inside, several of them.

Same here. A cooling pad for a laptop sounds like a good idea though...I know several people with laptops and they all have overheating issues. A cooling pad would likely increase the lifespan of your hardware.

my older cooling pad, i use for my game console, as it emits a lot of heat during long game play. cooling pads arent cheap..they used to be..now they range from $22.00 up to 40.00

My daughter needs a cooling pad. Is this brand really good?

Her laptop was acting up and wouldn't turn on sometimes. I asked her to read the number on the bottom so she could go online and see if it was still under warranty. She said it had melted. :crazy:

i like it it a lot lammchen. this model fits laptops that are at least 15" screen size. the fan is quiet and seems to be doing its job well. there are others out there that are priced over 40 dollars, and those have built in usb ports.
