What do you do to cope with stress and recharge your energy? It's been a difficult week this week and I am open to new ideas that maybe i'm not doing

I spend time in the Bible and pray.
i attend church and have started going to a Sunday School class
I read a lot, try to get enough rest, draw and journal and go for walks or exercise

Yup, prayer and worship are good approaches.

Music calms me every time. Sometimes it's listening to loud music. Sometimes hymns. Sometimes singing. Sometimes playing my flute. Or the tin whistle!

When I am at home and seeing my clients online for therapy I almost always have instrumental music playing. It helps me to concentrate and be calm

Stress?:disgonbegood: Stress?:disgonbegood: What's stress? Where?:Nooo:

o_O

I have to be pretty stressed to actually "feel" stress. Normally I know it when something happens in my body to tell me I'm stressed. The last while, I thought my stress was mostly under control, but today I had a massage and realized that I've been carrying stress probably from the last ten years. I think I stopped being in touch with my body because I had no idea... lol.

New way of dealing with stress? Massage!

All kinds of exercise are good for stress relief. I hope to start swimming again as soon as I get a membership to the Y.

Petting your pet (cat, dog, guinea pig, ferret, pig, etc...) is supposed to be very calming.

My Molly cat is spoiled rotten. She gets treated like the princess that she is.
Seriously though, I am searching for more coping skills. Working full time and part time job is stressful.
I am joining a men's group this Wednesday which should be fun
