Last night was a lot like tonight. We were slammed.

Took a lazy morning today, then pulled some more window trim off. Another window sill looks like it needs to be replaced, which means I'll want to replace both the window sills in that room so they match. Tomorrow I need to fiddle with some more cabling and take another load of trash to the landfill. My count is now 19 bags with a bunch of drywall pieces and window weights as well. My wife wants to get rid of a couple of planters that are broken, so they might as well go on the heap too, along with a piece of old nasty hose we found in the shed. Probably another 1/4 ton or so all in.

Hauled another 520lb of trash to the landfill. I'd estimated this lot at more like 400-450lb so was surprised to see it quite so high, but you never know. 18 bags of trash, a pile of bits of drywall, some old hose and stone planters are all gone now. I was going to take a load of accumulated glass as well but figured I'm paying for regular trash collections so it can go out with that this week. Rubble doesn't play nicely with garbage bags and I like to reuse my polypropylene bags so only rarely put them out with the regular trash.

Now I get to play with some electrical wiring. Thankfully it's in the basement, don't feel like working in the attic when it's 100+ degrees up there.

one of our office therapist quit so I am helping an intensive in home team make some visits this week and next and also doing my job. I have two home visits today and several office visits.

You know what? It does, indeed. I don't know what the hell is wrong with me, Lammchen, but you're absolutely right. God has greatly blessed me to be in the position I'm in now and I've no reason to gripe about it. Right now, I'm working and I'm getting counseling and also I've got a job coach who's actively looking for a position that I might enjoy a bit more.

It's grocery day! Done with that and now I have $1.20 off per gallon of gas so I have to drive a half hour to that gas station since my grocery store that's 15 minutes away doesn't have a gas station. I guess it's worth the drive.

Been getting on with rewiring some stuff in my basement. Much of it is enabling work, because so much is in a state of change I need to make sure that before I disconnect one load of sockets I've got others within reach (or at least within reach of my long extension cord) that I can use. And because some sockets are connected in unexpected ways I need to make sure I don't inadvertently disconnect something I need, like the air conditioner in my study.
