When it rains it poors!
Last saturday I didnt report to work because my grandma went into a coma and the family went to see her as she was not expected to live much longer.
Thursday I got the bad news, I kept calm at work but started sobbing and my heart was hurting, they allowed me to take the day off work and to call in the morning if I wasnt going to report that day, I called in because other than just mourning -my dad and mom as well as myself have a lot of preparation to do to get ready for the rosary and funeral in which I am paul bearer, I told them that I shall be back tuesday because the funeral is monday, I guess they don't include my dear grandmother as immediate family so I got a call today saying that they are letting me go!
I have bills to pay so I will be collecting unemployment benefits for the time being as i search for decent work but still! I have been with the company for 3 years and now they found a technical way to terminate me. Forgive me for working 13 hour shifts 6 days a week for 10 dollars an hour at double the pace! They cant go a few days without me so they unjustly fire m? Thank God that in texas you are eligible for benefits even when fired as long as it wasnt out of mis conduct.
I see this as a blessing tho, that place was ruining me both spiritually and physically, its made up entirely of convicts, rapist and pedophiles, everyone sleeps with everyone, they sell condoms in the girls restroom and they pay enough to pay child support and probation fines... I must have been the one exception for my clean record and pure tongue, people are fired left and right for sexual harassment, fighting, verbal, threats, drug and alcohol abuse. They can just simply replace me with a guy straight from the pen who will work anywhere just to stay out of jail.
I had nothing in common with them but I treated them all with kindness and respect even though they mocked me as 'Pastor' and mimicked the sign of the cross to me.
