The Baby bird is so sweet!! It lets you pick it up and sits on your fingers while you pet it. Someone trained it to do that. I'm so glad I got this Baby bird!! It is such a joy and Danny loves it, too!

My last parakeet wasn't hand feed as a chick and it really limited my interactions with it. My next one definitely will be raised hand fed.

Most of mine weren't hand fet either but this one was trained to sit on your fingers. It sits real still, lets you pick it up and pet it, too.

Yes, you can see its picture on the page before this one. I call it Baby because I don't know if its a boy or girl yet. It is really cute and sweet and lets you hold it and pet it, too.

Baby bird is so sweet!! It just flew out of the cage and I put it on my fingers and it chirps and peeps just like a baby bird. Now that is cute!

I grew up with my mom owning parakeets. We had one named Beelzebop (yeah, play on the name...he was satanic that's for sure!) who always chewed up my homework! I hope your birds are sweeter, Ruth!

Yeah. parakeets will eat paper that's for sure. You have to train them to stay in one room like the living room and put curtains on the entrances so they don't go elsewhere.

Hi MS, I'm not worn down. I put the little baby bird on the draw bridge to the cage and it went back in and hasn't come back out. I closed the cage and covered it for them to sleep. I think the baby bird was worn out from Danny constantly kissing it.

My mom gave our birds free reign of the house! That one was a nuisance but she loved him! Even the dogs were afraid of him! LOL
