Asking for recommendations for companion books that I can use side by side with the Bible.
I don't own a Strongs Concordance or Aramaic translation bible but I am interested in Hebrew customs and tradition references to the Old and New Testament.
Also any interesting biblical archaeology books, testimonials or reference books would help, even off the wall or unclassified books will do -im interested :)
Thanks in advance

I used to subscribe to a biblical archaeological magazine decades ago but I didn't find it to be particularly helpful except in maybe 2 instances. Even then I can google some of that information...so don't waste your money on those magazines!

Learning history will definitely help your bible studies!

This book looks like it has some good information although I haven't read it (I did the Look Inside feature): Everyday Life in Bible Times

Unger's Bible Dictionary is good. Vine's expository dictionary is also helpful.

Halley's Bible Handbook has been helpful to me in the past
