We have a new family member in my apt. It is Baby bird. I got her/him not sure what it is yet tonight and it is scared. It's going to take some time for it to adjust. Danny has been looking at him/her. We thought it was a she at the pet shop but won't know until he/she is mature. She is so scared. I don't know why. Never saw one that scared. Hopefully he/she will adjust.

i had a dog .. a little foxy .
darn thing used to drive me to distraction .. used to make me wild, impatient ,

steal my food .. piddle everywhere .. wander and cost me heaps getting her back from the dog pound
sometimes i wanted to dig a hole in the yard and hit it with that spade and push it in ....

now .. your all thinking ohuhhh what a monster .. but know this oddity ----



she got old and developed a spinal problem that cause her to wimper the paim was so much.. she had to be put down as a mercy...

And that day ------ no, that week, even that month ... i have not wept so much in all my life :raincloud:

Hi everyone. Just watching Gunsmoke this afternoon. Little Danny bird is sitting on my shoulder watching me type. I am debating weather to get him another bird friend. It is a 9 year commitment for another bird. Danny just turned 6. I don't know what to do. He is doing okay and likes to be near me. Now he is sitting on my head. He is adjusting my glasses now. lol.

If you can afford to give him the attention he needs and let him out of his cage oft n then he's probably okay.

All of my birds have been free to fly around but now this one can hardly fly so at night at bedtime I'm closing the cage. I open it every day.

I will say hi but this bird is so scared I don't know what to do. I let it fly as little as it does around the living room tonight. I hope it can adjust.
