Is there a thing that can be done that will not be forgiven? If so what is it?

What does the Bible say?
"No one seeks God, not even one."
I'm saying you couldn't even hear God until He called you and chose you.
Your failure to not know God, never stopped God from knowing you and choosing you despite your wicked heart. That's grace. Unmerited favor. God giving you what you don't deserve.
That's one verse.

I know of many verses that speak of seeking and finding and feeling for and knocking and the door being opened.

I am simply hearing what you are saying.
Are you a universalist? You said that all sins of man are forgiven.
Did we not go over how all sin will be forgiven man except blaspheme of the Holy Spirit of GOD, which is to knowingly outwardly portray GOD as evil though we have been shown otherwise.

Universalist is a very very broad term friend.

What confuses you about "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God"? What don't you understand when God says "you were dead in your trespasses and sins"? How much more do you need before you believe God?
That isn't what I asked for at all.

This conversation is over.

You have no desire to expound on a part of your doctrine that I am genuinely interested in. You said that the elect are for a purpose earlier and that that purpose was to show the grace of GOD. Maybe I misunderstood. You don't seem to want to teach so much as insult. I personally can't learn that way. I've broken away from the actual point of this thread seeing that you won't be swayed, but then when I show actual interest you just ignore it.....I'm out.

You have yet to show the GOD of your doctrine as merciful. Fact is I believe in a form of calvinism....I don't think it's your form though.

peace; may GOD guide us both by HIS Will and our sincerity in faithfulness.

Context is helpful.
Mark 3:23-30
[23]Jesus called them over and responded with an illustration. “How can Satan cast out Satan?” he asked.
[24]“A kingdom divided by civil war will collapse.
[25]Similarly, a family splintered by feuding will fall apart.
[26]And if Satan is divided and fights against himself, how can he stand? He would never survive.
[27]Let me illustrate this further. Who is powerful enough to enter the house of a strong man like Satan and plunder his goods? Only someone even stronger—someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.
[28]“I tell you the truth, all sin and blasphemy can be forgiven,
[29]but anyone who blasphemes the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven. This is a sin with eternal consequences.”
[30]He told them this because they were saying, “He’s possessed by an evil spirit.”
However, notice that Jesus says "all sin 'can be' forgiven," not "all sin 'will' be forgiven." That's a huge difference.
It seems that you and Strav want to redefine the definition in order to weasel out of your own dilemma.
Universalist means..."all"...everyone.
You seem to hate the fact that God acts as a just Judge.

You are tossing out red herrings to avoid the point of this thread and make God in your image. Let God speak and toss out your man-made philosophy.

Disingenuous misrepresentation of the truth in order to support your evil doctrine.

Mark 3: 28. Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Mark 3: 28. `Verily I say to you, that all the sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and evil speakings with which they might speak evil,

Mark 3: 28. Verily I say unto you, All their sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and their blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:

Mark 3: 28. Truly, I say to you, The sons of men will have forgiveness for all their sins and for all the evil words they say:

Mark 3: 28. Verily I say unto you, that all sins shall be forgiven to the sons of men, and all the injurious speeches [with] which they may speak injuriously;

( I think others get my point)

One presumes to tell me why I started this thread all while ignoring that he is making the Spirit of GOD out as evil with his false doctrine and cherry picked verses.

I ask that this thread be closed.

I did not start it to contend endlessly with a single individual to no avail.

Some people just won't hear; maybe I'm guilty of it too, bit I don't have to willingly promote it.

Normally we do not close threads at the OP's request unless there is flaming going on all over the place. The threads belong to the community and a lot of members put time into them so they too have ownership of it, not just the OP.

Since the OP is struggling with the back and forth contention, Romanos has given me permission to do a cool down thread closure for 24 hours. Then the thread will be re-opened for those who wish to participate but participation is never mandatory in these public threads.
