Indeed, yet not for the sake of the unbeliever.

If ones salvation is in no way linked to their secret works, then it matters not what any does.

To say such is to say that GOD chose, before the foundation of the world, to eternally punish or rather destroy for all eternity, those who are morally good people regardless of the nature of their soul.

That is basic hypercalvinism; and it makes the Spirit out to be evil due to the fact that GOD is all knowing, and per said doctrine; actually created life to punish it, knowing it had no freedom or choice to turn from the evil which was imputed within it's very nature from GOD.


if one can't see that to be a very grave problem then, well....they need to search out their own motives and listen to that small voice a little more.

It's not beside the point.

Romans 2:14-15
[14]Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.
[15]They demonstrate that God’s law is written in their hearts, for their own conscience and thoughts either accuse them or tell them they are doing right.

What did Jesus do to the unproductive fig tree?

I believe the fig has something to do with Babylon, yoke of false prophets and captivity.
Signifying a time of restoration as our Lord is the Redeemer.

15 “You say that Adonai has raised up prophets for you in Bavel. 16 But here is what Adonai says about the king occupying David’s throne and about all the people living in this city, your kinsmen who did not go into exile with you — 17 thus says Adonai-Tzva’ot: ‘I will attack them with sword, famine and plague; I will make them like bad figs, so bad they are inedible. 18 I will pursue them with sword, famine and plague and make them an object of horror to all the kingdoms of the earth; and they will bring on themselves cursing, astonishment, ridicule and reproach among all the nations where I have driven them; 19 because they have not paid attention to my words,’ says Adonai, ‘which I sent to them through my servants the prophets. I sent them frequently, but you refused to listen,’ says Adonai.
