I'm about to work on some cross stitch ornaments. They take a long time to make.

ran 4.9 miles this morning and put up the tree and now going to watch Michigan vs. Ohio State. I guess since I was born in Ohio I should root for them.

Can you do a bit more running and send me the results? I could lose a few pounds myself

Wouldn't it be nice if it was that easy. I actually haven't lost any weight at all over the last two months. I've been running for about 9 or 10 weeks now.

Home from shopping. The thrift store with the decent used furniture doesn't deliver out by me any longer, so spent more than I wanted for some basic stuff. At least it'll last for a while.

Not sure whether to spend the afternoon in the crawl space playing with wiring and insulation and general dirt and grime and debris, or to fiddle with some stuff on the computer, or put my feet up and take a nap in my recliner. Maybe I'll do a bit of everything, it's just that after getting in the crawl space I need to take another shower. Maybe I'll save that fun job for tomorrow.

They sounded quite similar to what I used to eat a lot of at university, called a doner kebab. But they were typically quite fatty... usually what I'd do is bite the end off the bread and drain the surplus fat out before eating it.

I replaced the cable to my furnace this morning. Not strictly necessary but the old cable was an armored old thing with cloth sheathing, had no ground wire, and was an eyesore snaking across my basement. I got sick of looking at it, so replaced it with a nice new piece of cable that not only doesn't snake across everything (it's tacked into place and runs through holes in the joists, rather than being very badly stapled kinda-sorta-near the joists, but also has a ground wire.

Now the 40-odd feet of armored cable I took out is sitting coiled up in a box of scrap metal, waiting for me to finish the house rewiring so I can take it all to a guy I know who gathers it for a charity he works with.

I move the chicken breasts out of the freezer and into the fridge a day or more before I intend to cook them.

Luck you...I am waiting for something from Amazon and it was marked Delivered by UPS but it's not outside anywhere. I read online that sometimes they'll scan their stuff as Delivered so they don't miss a deadline and then sometimes don't drop it off at the houses until the next day. I'm not happy about that.
