I just wanted to open this thread because I thought we could use a laugh after all the tension and bile over the last couple of weeks. For those who don't find this kind of thing funny, I apologize, but for the others, this just might occasion a nice belly- laugh.

Well, they do. It's obviously a loaf of bread, but its position might not be the most tactful.

They could opt to put the statue up on a higher pedestal where students can't interfere.

If I were a student or in some way affiliated with the school, I'd be embarrassed too.

I mean, c'mon - how many loaves of bread do you see that can roughly fit into the diameter of the 'O' that is formed by the curled fingers and thumb? If that's supposed to be a loaf of bread instead of just a piece of bread, it's the smallest I've ever seen!

I guess the sculptor was thing about the most convenient way he could sculpt.
