We had a lady come to our door. She is my friend's mother, and my friend is 40. She was dressed as a cat. In fairness she was with my friend and my friend's 3-year-old daughter (her granddaughter). We had a good chuckle, a good chat, and gave all three of them some candy.

Would any of you deny an autistic adult who is out with a family member and wants to trick-or-treat to have a little bit of enjoyment?

I guess the question would have to be why the autism makes any difference. Would you deny any other adult who is out with a family member and wants to trick-or-treat a little bit of enjoyment?

If someone is obviously mentally disabled it's easy to make allowances for them but where would you draw the line? Would you challenge someone who wasn't visibly disabled who was out trick-or-treating?

I deleted my own post about the offensive, repulsive "comedian" noted above.... cuz I'm nice. And all that has NOTHING to do with what ages are appropriate to beg for candy on Halloween night in the USA.

The very funny comedic act teaches a great deal about age appropriate trick or treating.
