I saw my friends doing this in years past on Facebook and wanted to do it here this year

Today I am thankful for Romanos who created Christianity Haven so that we could have a forum to discuss, build friendships, support one another and laugh. :angel:

I'm thankful for the team that we have here and for the awesome work we do. I'm also thankful for our Supporting Members who have supported our site financially. I'm thankful to our whole member base, old and new, for even one post helps CH. Thanks everyone!

Day 2

Today I'm thankful for the CH Staff!
[MENTION=62]tango[/MENTION] who has been Senior Moderator for ages now and is great at bringing up things that needs to be discussed on the site with the rest of staff. He's fair and isn't quick to dish out any reprimands and that fits with how Romanos wants staff to be.
[MENTION=55]ImaginaryDay2[/MENTION] who left staff but agreed to return to assist when needed. He has great empathy for the members and seriously has all your backs He's not afraid to work hard even though we rarely have any work to do.
[MENTION=59]jsimms435[/MENTION] who has stepped up in bringing forth great conversation which is something that is needed around here. He works hard at getting things done in a timely manner and is highly efficient!
[MENTION=13]Josiah[/MENTION] who still needs to remain on staff because I have more issues going on and the more the merrier! He's eager to learn and considers all sides before giving his opinion in our staff threads.

Thank you, guys for keeping the site going. I'm truly thankful

Among MANY people and things, I'm thankful for [MENTION=11]Lämmchen[/MENTION] for her friendship over many years, for her kindness and support WAY back when I was still a teen and in the whirlpool of CF.....Lamm and I joined CF at the same time and she was my first "friend" I ever officially declared there (that was over 12 years ago). I'm thankful to her for inviting me to CH (her timing could not have been more perfect)... and all her friendship, kindness and embrace to me these past two-plus years here at CH.... and for her patience, kindness, and understanding after I came on staff here. There's a huge central theme there, going back a LONG time.

AND.... she is passionate about this site! She really gives her heart to this community! This isn't a business or forum for her to change minds - it's a ministry. I appreciate that (it's contagious, too).

Today I'm thankful for two long time members who have contributed almost daily!
[MENTION=60]MoreCoffee[/MENTION] who creates new lines of conversation across the site and is active in the chatbox seeking to bring creativity with his ideas and responses that livens this place up.
[MENTION=43]psalms 91[/MENTION] who is excellent at befriending our newcomers and making them feel welcome. He sticks up for those who do not know how to voice their opinions and has a passion for God that shows in his love toward neighbors.

Today I am thankful for ValleyGal who writes mainly in the Private Women's Forum.
[MENTION=56]ValleyGal[/MENTION] who is one of my closest friends here on the site and we "talk" daily as I eat breakfast, reading what she has written and responding. She is one of my pillars of support and encouragement and I like being the same for her as we get through this thing called life. I enjoy reading her perspective and voice of reason.

Day 5

Today I'm thankful for Jo and Ruth.
[MENTION=68]~Jo~[/MENTION] who can spice things up with a good zinger and makes me laugh. She is a creative person and I enjoy talking crafts with her.

[MENTION=20]Ruth[/MENTION] who has a fondness for animals that sometimes makes me want to go out and get a pet...but I don't because my husband wouldn't let me.

Both ladies are nice and have their own chat threads so stop on by and visit them when you can!

Today I'm thankful for Imalive and Snerfle. They're like the peanut butter and jelly of the site (two sweet things that go together).

I am grateful that things are going better than they was here , sorry I haven't been round much lamm.. I to wish the Snefie would come back . I miss having chats and laughs with him...Bill is a very kind man and so I am grateful he is here to.. Imalive is a kind person to and so glad she come back.. I am grateful to lamm because without her I more than likely wouldnt be here...As for hotrhymez I wish he would come in more and play games with me like he used to once..

Please dont pay TOO much mind to those ↑ kinds of 'affectionate' comments by Lammie. (As hi-lited in red)
She's been under alot of stress lately,
what with all the Bingo heating up and everything.
(This time it's a full-card blackout-game, and it can get quite intense, so she's been under heavy sedation to cope.)

She sometimes posts like this when she's feeling a bit 'chipper'
(from the meds, you know) but she should be back to normal soon enough, as soon as someone yells BINGO that actually HAS it!
(We're watchin' you, Snerf!)
