North Korea's regime has "succeeded in making a more developed nuke," according to the country's state news agency.

The Korean Central News Agency described it as a "nuke" in its English-language report, but called it a "thermonuclear hydrogen bomb" in the Korean version.
During a visit to the country's Nuclear Weapons Institute, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un "watched an H-bomb to be loaded into new ICBM (intercontinental ballistic missile)," KCNA reported.

I think this story is written by proven fake news organization cnn. They have given me no reason to trust that anything they report on is true. That doesn't mean it isn't true - but I don't trust the source.

It's funny, I'm sort of worried about North Korea, but at the same time, I'm not. North Korea is still stuck in 1950. Just a few months ago, they could barely get a rocket off the pad. I doubt they could attack anyone with any real accuracy or precision. Not only do we have our version of the iron dome, we have all kinds of jets ready to knock it out of the sky before it takes off. But, I bet we will meet them with overwhelming force the second they even try anything.

So much news these days seems to push an agenda. It's hard to tell whether, in this case at least, Trump is little more than a nutjob or if he's the one who is finally willing to take a stand against the North Korean leadership and put an end to their sabre-rattling ways.

Frankly I'd rather have someone willing to stand against the wannabe-bully than endlessly appease them and let them grow stronger until they can actually do some harm. For now at least it's hard to see them as any more of a threat than the Iraqi scud missiles from circa 1990.

HOW, pray tell, did we get to this point? What policies of the past couple of decades empowered this?

Snerfs dad was fighting there and they liberated South Korea and then wanted to move on to North Korea, but some general or something said no. He's still mad about it.
