Joke. Youtube removed my Charlottesville video. I was one of the first to publish a content based review and in the first few days was getting 20-40 - sometimes even 100 views an hour. Over 90% likes. Then they decided to slap an "Adult content" restriction on it?(this happened like a week ago...I just let it slide) What for? No sex. No nudity. Nothing that wasn't shown on major corporate news. The vulgarity of various persons that were in the videos being critiqued? Really? How come I can view video all the time when there is an F word or S word without having to log in to show I'm an adult? My views went down just on that - seems obvious they wanted to limit it.

Now they have removed it. For what reason? "Harrassment and Bullying". Joke. Youtube is getting political and this stinks. My violation isn't even specific on where this is supposed to have occurred. Well YouTube - you aren't the only video hosting site around - and I am not the only person to have their video pulled on spurious reasons in the Charlottesville charade. Keep it up - and your service will be used less and less in favor of others.

Oh yeah, they do. And steadily, since it's gone corporate (taken over by Google) things have gotten worse. Whoever is running stuff is getting heat over the Charlottesville videos that don't agree with the Corporate narrative. Quality videos, I mean. Some of the speculative non convincing stuff seems to stay. I'm not the first to have my video removed - other people who did short critique's that were skeptical of certain things have had theirs removed for very reaching and generalized "violations" People who have 10's of thousands of subscribers. My channel apparently was allowed to go for a while (seeing as I had 0 subs when I posted the Charlottesville video) and had several thousand views in just a few days and 38 new subs in the last 2 weeks or so. Within about a week though - I had an "age restriction" on it.

I've appealed the decision to have it removed but am not holding my breath. They didn't even pinpoint where in the video I am supposed to have violated their rules. I'm supposed to have got an email - but I have not gotten it. I've witnessed footage of clear and very damning instances where the directors of the "car scene" are drawing the attention of just about everyone there that apparently keeps getting removed from youtube (it's on other video hosting sites though - ones that right now I hope get more and more attention).

Wow, Harrassment and bullying was the reason they gave? Is this video you shot yourself? Were you actually there or is this something you used from somewhere else?
I've never been on campus, but have been to Monticello not far from there.

My video was a critique of 4 different videos of the "car crash" event that is supposed to have taken place in Charlottesville and allegedly caused the death of Heather Heyer which made it to youtube soon after the event - said event receiving huge corporate media attention, and public funeral shortly after. Sometimes, I have an eye for certain things and when I spotted that one of the videos they were pushing seemed fake in certain respects - I engaged and walked through the videos step by step with a critical eye.

This was Aug 16. Within a week or so an "Adult content" was slapped onto it by YouTube (slowing down views as everyone who viewed it had to log in). Keep in mind I had a 0 subscriber base when I published the video. Nevertheless, views were rapidly growing with people sharing it. Now, it has officially been removed for "bullying and harrassment". There is still good content out there, but it seems my video was targeted for whatever reason - and staff were just getting around to it. I'm not the only one that had their video removed. Some others got theirs removed simply for omitting a warning for "graphic content" or "copyright" (but of course the Corporate News Giants were allowed to publish the same footage without such difficulties).

My question is is what is different about those videos apart from the others? If nothing then I would cry discrimination
