What expectations do you have of heaven and do you think that your expectations will be met? For example do you expect a super fast internet connection and a perfect google search algorithm in the heavenly broadband network? I ask about broadband because of my own recent troubles with the NBN (National Broadband Network) and because we all use the internet for chatting on CH. You probably have other expectations regarding heaven. What are they?

I suspect that heaven will be life without expectations. In my experience it is often expectations that cause problems because one persons expectation is anothers obligation and obligations are felt as an imposition and unmet expectations cause resentment. For me heaven will be a life without either.

I rather like the idea that a Christian friend expressed to me some years ago, that God might gather up a group of guys and show us a map with blank areas and say something like "I never really checked this part out, wanna go take a look?" And, being heaven, you could go out and explore it knowing you weren't going to get eaten by bears or dragons or anything.
