Things seem too nice at CH right now..... and it's been awhile since anyone has been mad at me..... so......

1. Women sometimes communicate badly. Women (who often are very good at talking) often claim to express their most important messages silently, without words, via what they call "body language." They give "THE LOOK" (all guys know what this is). Or they direct their eyes away from someone. Or some other mysterious nonverbal means. They tend to use this for the messages they MOST want to convey, especially to guys. Thing is, guys lack the gene to detect this stuff. It goes entirely unreceived. It's not our fault. And rather than realize that reality, women just get MAD at the guy (because of his disability in this) and send even more such messages that they know won't be received. This can go on for years. Women need to remember: If you want a guy to get the message, stand within one foot of his face. Look him in the eyes. Introduce it with, "This is very important to me and I want you to hear this." Then convey the message in CLEAR, simple, short words (no more than 10-12 of them) - being careful to avoid complex grammar or unusual words (and especially emotion type/psychological ones). Remember his disability. Mean what you say, SAY what you mean. Simple. Works (sometimes).

2 Women sometimes dress badly. I think they see those models or movie stars or people in the magazines they all get and say, "that's me." Now, I remember when I was a teen, I hung out a lot at the beach. Lots of females wore bikinis. Now, ladies..... maybe 10% of females look GOOD in a bikini. When they do, it's a really good thing but when they don't, it's not. It can end up just drawing attention to the fact that their body is NOT suitable for a bikini (a point that otherwise wouldn't be made at all). Now, there are a lot of nice two piece suits that are flattering to, well.... nonbikini bodies and the girl looks good in them. And true is, a lot of one piece suits can be quite hot. I mean.... go with what makes you look good, not well..... obviously not able to wear that. I think this goes for a lot of women's fashions. I mean, too often this stuff is designed for 18 year old size 0 girls, not perhaps YOU. And what's up with the $200.00 jeans that look like they were pulled out of a trash bin, gnawed by rats? Is that suppose to make them look GOOD? Honestly? Do these girls look in the mirror? Sometimes I see girls and wonder..... how much time and money did they spend to look THAT badly????? It must have been a lot, cuz it wouldn't be easy. And make-up. With the exception of lip stick, make up should be invisible: it works best when it's not noticed that they are wearing make-up. Sometimes, it conveys "I'm REALLY uncomfortable with how I look - and you should be too." When the girl feels comfortable with herself, others are more likely too. Now, don't get me wrong, make up is a good thing - just don't overdo it. Leave that to clowns. [I'll be forever thankful to my sis who taught me how to make that zit fairly invisible, without the make up becoming visible; yeah, make up can be a good thing - if not overdone].

Well, I could go on (yes, I could) but I think I'd better stop.

I'm mad at you for your pro-Trump comment on the Nazi thread, so don't think things are all that peaceful, sweetheart.

It takes a lot to make me mad :nana: I was a substitute teacher for 5 years so I can tolerate quite a bit.

.... coming from a GUY, lol......

I hadn't realized I've ever said anything that indicated I was "pro-Trump" (only that I didn't vote for him) but I don't think that EVERYTHING he thinks, says or does is automatically evil or satanic or stupid or even NECESSARILY wrong (as much of the press would have us believe). But this thread ain't about Trump. Although I think his wife is, well, quite attractive. Not as much as mine but attractive nonetheless. I doubt she wears those trash bin jeans but I wouldn't be surprised if she does the "I'm shouting silently" thing.

I went to a wedding w collegues from a collegue, so these guys said they were going in a suit. I had to buy a dress. Didn't even have one. Then I come there, turned out it was a joke, all those collegues, male, female: denim. I wear it a lot, almost always.

Perhaps not the "Out-of-the-trash-bin-full-of-holes-gnawed-by-rats" variety?

Ehmm what I wear now looks a lot like that, but mostly not. I blame the bunnies. They gnaw on all my clothes.
