Are you starstruck?

I'm not big into following celebrities and have never really crushed on them like my friends did. Are there celebrities that get your heart thumping or in the past you had posters of in your room? Wrote letters to? Etc?

I couldn't write him a letter but he hung in my room. A friend from my niece had his address, but she didn't want to give it, cause he was hers.

'He hung in my room' LOL that sounds as if I killed him.

No, I'm not starstruck (it's hard to be such in Southern California..... stars are all over the place).

When I was very young, I had a bit of a "thing" for Hilary Duff." No poster.... and I couldn't stand the stupid TV show she did, but she did make my young heart go a flutter.....

I had a few posters of bands that I liked when I was younger for a while but that's it. No individuals.

To be honest - I tend to have a low or lower opinion of people who celebrity worship. In general, I mean - and lower for the celebrities that encourage that behavior. There are lots of people in this world that I admire for some reason or another - but not a single one of them is above reproach and not a single one of them is worthy of my worship.

"Attractive" seems to change a lot.....


Back in the 70's, hairy was good (for guys, LOL). Hairy everything (especially chests). Sometimes just eyes peering out!

FORTUNATELY, until recently, this had done a 180.... and it was "in" for guys to have hairless chests and not too much hair otherwise. Fit me to a "t" (and what body hair I have tends to be blond and fine, lol..... I shave now and then but it's mostly peach fuzz, lol). But the times are suddenly changing again..... beards are coming back big time and who knows, hairy chests and pooka shells might be making a come back! God helps us if Disco returns with it!

I didn't have a crush on Robby Benson but my husband and I started dating when we were teens and he had similar features to him. We were at a restaurant once when I heard some girls talking about him saying, "Oh, he looks just like Robby Benson!" Image below is Robby not my husband LOL
