I'll give a hint once some more people have given it a go. But outside of that I'll say this - the illusion of walking is just that, an illusion.

Ok, I think the pic in it's present form is just too hard and no one will get it.

I also think this hint might make it too obvious, but here goes.

What follows is what I wanted my avatar to be after editing down for size. The size (1.6MB) was still way too large and I had to shrink it considerably as well as cut out lots and lots of frames for it to fit into the 97 KB range:

Also, I took this from something (it's not original) and simply added a moving layer of a different quality for effect.

Alright...that ends my video game character additions...I suspect not too many gamers here.

The gif pic is from Elder Scrolls Skyrim game. It's one of the monsters in the game called a "Wispmother".

Hmm...not sure using a search engine is cheating per se - just that I really didn't expect it to be that easy. I could have changed a few things on the video when I was editing - markers to try to fool the visual bots and a slight pitch change in the voice so perhaps google/youtube couldn't pick it up - but I didn't want to mar this beautiful clip. I find it powerfully emotive - even more so when the lyrics are understood.
