Well I used to have a Facebook account but found it was exhausting and frankly a wasre of energy to try to read it, so I quit! And now I find myself with time for other more stimulating pursuits - like forum sharing LOL.
Okay a brief potted history :
I am a Englishman, born in South Devon to a Royal Marine father and so spent much of my formative years travelling to other parts of the globe whilst my father 'fought the Queen's enemies', this took me to Malta, Singapore twice and to Canada and Germany. I learned very young that home is where the heart is and not a physical place per se.
I am now 60 years old, married for 40 years this year with two lovely grown daughters and three exciting grandsons of 3 years, 9 months and 3 months.
Between our two daughters we (my wife and I) had a son too and he died at just two days old from hypoplastic left heart syndrome. That was a difficult time which after some time led me to rediscover my faith, but that is a whole story of its own.
My hobbies are my family, my home and garden, watching rugby union and playing golf (or at least trying to lol) and reading.
I am employed as a Contracts Manager for one of the world's leading windfarm installers and still get to travel a fair bit with that.
I enjoy travelling for holidays too and my wife and I have been to Canada, USA, Australia, Singapore, South Africa, Egypt, France, Spain, Malta, Gibraltar, Austria and Italy and most recently to Jersey to celebrate our 40th anniversary.
There is much more to tell but it would take me a life time to write.

I don't reveal too much about myself but I'm 50 with a husband and our daughter lives on her own now in another state. I'm an artist (I went to art school in Chicago) and love to go hiking whenever I can. I sing at church and post on forums. I don't travel outside the USA except for one time to Canada.

People say that the iPad Pro (12.9 inch) is nice for drawing if you have the apple "pencil". Maybe you would like it. Give it a go at your local apple store

Did she put the whole birth on FB? Some people have no boundaries
Oh god no lamm that's not how she rolls. There is a few pics after the baby was born but that's about it. Even Fb knew before I did but there you go... They just popped in today for awhile on there way to somewhere so we have had a little hug but we are going to them on sunday hopefully if everyone is ok...

Apple products you say???? My husband is sooo against Apple. He let me have an iPod though because I used it when I was working.

Apple products are usually expensive. If you need a new laptop then the 2017 Samsung Notebook 9 (either 13.3" or 15.6") has excellent drawing and art capability with its "pencil"

I do not have the Samsung Notebook 9. I have an ASUS laptop from 2013. It still works fine so no need to buy a new one. I can't afford Apple stuff either.

I just got a new pc last September as my old pc was going on 6 years old still works fine just sits here now looking all sad cause I dont use it often still tons of space etc on it but kinda got told |I need a new one it was running windows 7 which I actually liked, this one now is windows 10 and seems weird to me mind you I don't exactly use it that much now my sight is going a bit wonky, it does have a touch screen monitor tho and that's really good other than that I'm not sure what to do on it now...lol. kinda wish I had a new laptop now instead then I could sit anywhere with it. I do have a tablet so must'nt complain to much lol..
