My blood type is O+ and I used to donate blood when I was younger but had to stop because I became anemic. Now that I'm no longer anemic and cancer free for 4 and a half years, I think I'm allowed to donate again?

I am O- and used to give blood but then in the 1990s the Red Cross rejected me because they found some kind of hepatitis antibodies in my blood, though I never had hep as far as I know.
