Hey I've been there a few times!! I went camping with my husband and a friend of ours. It was like 95 in Minneapolis and dropped to 40 in Duluth that night and I wasn't prepared. SO COLD. That's how it is in Minnesota!

I talked with him in his shop. He was a free spirited person who simply envisioned a piece in his mind and then built it. Minnesota has a number of eclectic parks. You can find the nations smallest park in St Paul. It's a memorial obelisk standing about 8 feet tall on an island near Dodd Avenue and Smith Avenue.

I think we might be thinking of 2 different parks? This one is a huge sculpture park in Shafer, MN. http://www.franconia.org/

I really like St. Paul and the architecture there. I've been there a couple times and prefer it over Minneapolis.

You are right. I was thinking of another park. However, I have been to the sculpture park on Hwy 8 as well.

I wish I had known about that one! It's closer to where our friend lives. We don't have any sculpture parks near me that I can find.
