...seems like they'd already know......but yes, i would mention it and ask them if they really wanted to sell it and for that particular price.

I would be wondering if it was fake (if art or somenting) or broken (like a lamp or radio).

I thought of this because my dad used to buy old glass at garage sales and then resell them. Sometimes he would get good deals. I never thought of it being bad since now everyone pretty much has a computer to do their research on their items.

i agree......when i buy anything at a 2nd hand shop i don't ask, i just celebrate such a good find
