Invade? Do you have a link where Trump says that? I heard him state on the tv yesterday that he's in talks with Denmark.

He has said that he is going to get Greenland one way or the other. What do you think that means?

Polls do show that but Polls also indicate a majority of the people there also want to be independent of Denmark.

Which should be a decision they make, not one made for me.
Now if they choose afterward to ally with the U.S., I'll have no problem with it.

He called out a reporter a few days ago who asked about him invading Greenland and Trump replied, "I didn't say that. YOU said that!" So it's the media putting words into his mouth because he doesn't want to reveal to them his plans. He tells them wait and see. He's the master of the deal and what's interesting about him is on the surface you think he's going after something, but he's really going after something else, and then getting it because of how he does the deal.

Economic sanctions and aggressive diplomatic pressure don't, for the major part, require Congress except for approval of the final deal and appropriation of the money to pay for it.
