Who is Lilith and why is she not mentioned in the Bible?

The first wife from Adam I thought according to stuff they made up, but lately when I was looking up my family tree that went back to Adam I saw they say she was a daughter from Adam who married Seth.

In the Middle Ages she reappears in Jewish sources as the dreadful first wife of Adam.

In most manifestations of her myth, Lilith represents chaos, seduction and ungodliness. Yet, in her every guise, Lilith has cast a spell on humankind.

The ancient name “Lilith” derives from a Sumerian word for female demons or wind spirits—the lilītu and the related ardat lilǐ. The lilītu dwells in desert lands and open country spaces and is especially dangerous to pregnant women and infants.

Oh it's in the Bible.

I didn't mean it was not based on something Biblical, although I can see how that reads. I mean that the character some are familiar with from Rabbinic Judaism is made up - her being Adam's first wife. But the being is real enough, demonic.

Yes but I didn't even know it was in the Bible. It's not in the Dutch and a lot of other English translations. Dutch says night ghost.

Hyenas meet wild dogs there, field spirits meet each other; yea, there the night ghost will dwell and find a resting place for himself.

Yeah I knew it was there as it was pointed out to me through a podcast that I listened to a while back (The Lord of Spirits - an Orthodox priest team podcast) and in a different podcast (Haunted Cosmos - Reformed ministers) I listened to a few weeks ago. Otherwise I would not have known either.
